Terms of Service
By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the following terms listed below.
I have the right to decline any commission or request
Please credit me as either https://www.youtube.com/@DustySox on YouTube, @dustysox.bsky.social on Bluesky, or @dusty_sox on Twitter
Please do not request for anything that would be illegal, NSFW, or anything immoral (hate speech/bigotry/etc.)
Commissions will be paid in USD through PayPal (will be invoiced)
Priority/Rush fees in case edit needs to be done sooner than usual will be between 20-40% of request depending on complexity of edit
Minor Revisions will be free of charge (minor meaning fixing spelling errors, small effects adjustment, removing or including info)
Major Revisions will be $15 per revision (additional visual effects/other images/scenes to video)
After payments have been discussed, partial payment upfront (50% of request) will be required to proceed with edit request
Final payments will be requested within 3 days of sending finished video and confirming finalization
Please note that I reserve the right to include finished works as part of my portfolio
Timing on the delivery of the video will be dependent on the complexity of the edit (reference: Shorts may take anywhere from 1 to 3 days), I will keep regular contact to let you know of any updates
Commissions
Thank you for your consideration! Please find details on price listings for the different forms of editing request below! Please note that these prices are negotiable depending on what is needed or not needed.
Shorts/Clip Edits
$20 Base Price for Singular Clip/Short
Must be 60 seconds or less, will include basic visual/sound effects/audio design (if needed)
If subtitles are to be included, will cost additional $10
Please provide clip/footage to be edited as well as any additional assets (images/music) needed to edit
If source footage is a VOD/longer source video, timestamps must be included
If timestamps not included, will cost additional $10 to look for clips to select
Additional Horizontal/Vertical video will be an additional $10 (Example: If you originally requested a YouTube Short, you would also get a 16:9 formatted version of it)
Please provide instructions on what you would like for your short, otherwise I will proceed with my best judgment in mind and will contact you for any clarifications
Longform Content (VODS/Video Highlights)
While I work primarily with short-form videos, I have worked with longform source material before and would be happy to help you with turning your VOD into a highlight video! Please note that prices below are per hour of the initial VOD length (will be rounded to nearest 15 minutes of footage) and will be rough estimates. EXACT prices will be determined after review of the source footage.
